Visitor – please help me out (US – FL)

I took my son to an urgent care for a gastritis (which has now been passed onto a specialist). We have a visitor (non US citizen) insurance under United Health, International PPO.

I asked the urgent care center if they took my insurance before going. They took my insurance info, all went fine, until now (a month later) they text me with a 498 dollars bill for the visit. I am in shock, they were supposed to bill the insurer. And I see that there's a No Surprise Act under which (if I understand well) I should have been warned about any balance billing for out of network (if they were)?

Their bill says insurance "0 dollars". I am worried now because we went to a specialist from there, now we had imaging/blood work today, and I have NO idea if despite having an insurance I'll end up with huge bills!

I emailed the center with these questions, but I'm genuinely worried. I thought insurance got us, but no, even with insurance we're screwed?
