US Medical Insurance and Domestic Partnerships

I'll try to make this as brief as possible. My gf and I have been together 1 year, I moved in about 8 months ago. She has 2 kids from another relationship and is pregnant with ours due in December. We've had a really tough year with some issues she was having and could not have a job for several months, since about January. We've struggled financially as a result, a lot. She has finally gotten a job but now it looks like we have to break up, because of insurance. She and her kids have been on medicaid this year, with everything paid as well as food stamps. Now that we both have jobs, our combined income puts us over the threshold so they will lose the medicaid if I stay. I have my own insurance through work but it isn't good insurance, certainly not with a baby on the way and all that entails. So as we're seeing it our only options are for me to leave so she can stay under the threshold, go under my insurance and owe a fortune come December (baby day), or just die really. We live in Ohio. Are there any options we aren't seeing? Edit: her new job is contract WFH so no insurance offered.
