Urgent Insurance advice
So I'm not doing too well and I have no insurance. I used to be on my parents' insurance but turned 21 last year and got off, I can get back on if I'm a full time student which I've been struggling with school for a long time so decided on a break. I was a bit worried about insurance costs so I put off on applying and not knowing there was an enrollment period. Have been trying to figure it out as of recent and about a week ago, I'm having a bit of pain that I think I have to go to the hospital for, I'm fearing pretty high costs, but family's very hesitant because of money. Been looking at clinics for the uninsured and other places. We're moving in 2 weeks to Tennessee (currently in KY) and my step dad retired from the Army about 2 months ago, so I'm trying to see if I'm eligible for special enrollment but I imagine it'll take some time to find out. I know I'm idiotic for waiting this long and this was almost expected/a 'Why didn't you do it?' type situation but if anyone has any advice on what I can do, I'd really appreciate it.
