UPMC Health plan, being over charged for "ANYWHERE CARE -Virtual Urgent Care" -using the app? Anyone else?
I've only had this plan 1 month, and it's been nothing but a headache. If they do this to all of there customers, they would be profiting billions.. My plan clearly states using the "Virtual Urgent Care"/ UPMC Anywhere Care is a co-pay of $5. First they tried to charge me $59, I call about that mistake, then I get a "claims details" saying I will owe $10. This is still wrong as $10 is for a "Primary Care Virtual visit".. so I email them again in the app, they tell me it's correct, I even showed proof of my plan stating it is a $5 copay. …
I call again….I explain… I state who my PCP is.. it's not the Dr I seen in the ANYWHERE CARE APP ! they called me back and I have to do an APPEAL over this! Yeah, it's only $5, but ya know what.. its the principle of the thing.. This is outrageous practices, they are fleecing us as patients, this is wrong.
