Update on insurance lying to me about coverage

My original post was here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HealthInsurance/comments/13wh7k9/insurance_lied_to_me_about_my_coverage/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

So basically they denied my appeals 3 times and say their decision is final. They never acknowledged that they listened to the recording of the employee that misinformed me about being covered, just vaguely stated that they knew it existed. At this point I’m looking more into how to make this cost less. I called the lab that I got the lab work done at and asked if we could do self pay instead of paying what they charged the insurance, but the lab said that it was already processed as an out-of-network provider through insurance. I’m planning on calling the insurance company next but I wanted to ask, does anyone know if this can be changed to a self pay amount rather than what they charged insurance since I now have to pay this myself? What can I do? Are there any people outside of the lab and my insurance that I can call for help? What are my rights here?

Thanks for reading.
