United healthcare/medicaid won’t cover for teeth previously worked on under different insurance or paid by pocket.

So yeah I have united healthcare community plan, theyve told me they won't cover 3 of the teeth that's need to be worked on because they had previous work. 2 of these teeth had work done that was either via different insurance in the past or paid out of pocket.

A year ago I called them to ask why they were rejected, they told me they believe that those teeth didn't need to be worked on. Year has past and now those teeth need to be worked on, I contacted the university dental office that I went to again and they told me now they won't cover these teeth because they had past work on, I think it's pretty outrageous that they won't cover at least the teeth that wasn't worked under their insurance, will I have to be raging mind numbing pain to get those teeth approved.

Also I take a biological, entyvio, every 8-9 weeks, for my ulcerative, so it's a risk to have these teeth, the two that are infected, to take this medication in case the infection becomes severe, imo they are playing a dangerous game.
