United Healthcare – Insurance starts tomorrow, no card sent. Dr appointment on Tuesday.
My husband changed jobs in June with his new employer insurance starting Sept 1 (tomorrow) with United Healthcare, but United Healthcare hasn't sent us a card. I am pregnant with an ultrasound on Tuesday, I am not rescheduling important appointments because a health insurance company cant get their shit together. I called their 24/7 phone number for employer insurance on their website and get a horrible automated system that wont put me in touch with anyone unless I provide my member ID, which I dont have since they didnt send me a card. Their New member webpage says to register online to pull a digital card.. but you cant register without a member id, which I dont have because again, they didn't send the card. So at this point, no card, cant speak to a human, and cant register for a digital card. I have never had United Healthcare before and so far I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of their customer service. Cigna and Anthem BCBS were mildly annoying but you could at least talk to a person on the phone to resolve an issue, this is just flat out unacceptable.
