Turning 26 soon, application for my own insurance denied due to PACs/PVCs but cardiologist says it’s normal and I’m healthy?

I’m 25F, turning 26 soon. I need my own health insurance as I’m aging out of my mom’s plan. I’m self employed so no insurance through work. I had hernia surgery a few months ago and saw a cardiologist afterwards to make sure I didn’t have any damage from the weight loss I had while recovering. He didn’t find anything unusual aside from a small handful of PACs and PVCs which he said are benign and totally normal.

My health insurance application was just denied because they said I have a pre-existing heart condition diagnosed within the last 5 years. The cardiologist said I’m healthy and almost everyone in the world gets PACs and PVCs if they’re monitored long enough. He had me wear a holter monitor for 30 days so of course it caught some.

It also sounds like they’re weary of covering me because of the hernia surgery, but my surgeon already cleared me saying it looks great and is healed, so no longer a problem.

What should I do now? Do you all recommend I file an appeal along with my paperwork from the doctors saying I’m healthy? Or should I just find a different insurance company altogether? I only picked this one because it’s the one my mom has and I’ve always just been on her plan with her. Any advice would be very appreciated.
