trying to get insurance outside of employment

My job doesn’t provide health insurance, my husbands job doesn’t provide insurance at a reasonable cost (250 for him, over $ 1k/mo for the two of us) I’ve looked at the marketplace, with $ 18k deductibles I’ll be paying all of our yearly needs out of pocket and still may not meet the deductible. I currently have a temp plan through BCBS but it’s a “select” so virtual visits are included, and most labs through a specific company, otherwise preventive care, including annual OBGYN visits, physicals, and even flu vaccines are subject to the deductible, which is low $1800 +/- / 6 months – again this is a temp plan. And it runs us about $450/mo

Metashare doesn’t seem too appealing, I would love to hear from someone who has it and how they like it.

I am hoping someone can offer an idea I haven’t thought of. I do need to see a specialist every year, my husband is healthy, but we both want to have some elective (reproductive) surgeries – different reasons each but otherwise we don’t need much coverage beyond 2023.

Thank you for any and all help.
