Travel Insurance with Pre Existing Condition Traveling from Ohio (USA) through Canada and back down through ME and NY

I have a pre-existing condition since birth and am struggling to find any insurance that I can use. My husband who I am traveling with does not have any conditions. We've been planning a trip to Canada this fall since after our wedding back in September. We made our first refundable booking back in November with Airbnb. Our first nonrefundable booking at a hotel was made back in February. This was before I even knew I should think about getting travel insurance. The entire trip has been put on my husbands travel card so far. My husband and I sat down last night for about an hour looking through different companies and I had a complete breakdown due to the wording of all of the policy's. I also feel incredibly guilty because can my husband even get insurance now for himself? Or do I prevent him from doing so? Should we still go forward with getting the insurance despite my condition? Will they cover anything? Any advice is much appreciated. This is our first time out of the county and our first time even looking at travel insurance.
