[TN] BCBS claim says "Awaiting Processing"

I had an issue with my daughter's pediatrician sending a claim to the wrong insurance. It obviously got denied as she wasn't covered and they had a hard time understanding me when I kept telling them that she has new insurance. Finally, they sent the claim to the correct insurance which is BCBS of TN. It's been 12 business days and the claim still says "Awaiting Processing". Other claims that we have had that are newer have already processed faster than this one. I reached out to BCBS via chat last week and was told it hasn't been processing long enough for them to do any investigation on it yet. I told them that I'm worried that the pediatrician office screwed the claim up again.

So does anyone know what the difference between "Awaiting Processing" and "Processing" status means on the BCBS website for the claims?

I'm curious if the pediatrician office sent the claim in one the inactive insurance as primary and the new active insurance as secondary and BCBS is waiting for the first one to process. This is just my speculation.
