You gave me good advice in the past. So see if this sounds right.

I am in NJ It seems like I have had Medicaid since 12/2020, even though I thought it expired in 2021 and I had other insurers in that time.

They tell me Medicaid will be expiring 4/30/2023, meanwhile I don't even have my HMO card yet.

5/1, I will have to go back to the state Marketplace.

Does this sound accurate?

I need to make specialist appointments that are 6 months+ out and I can't even do so right now. Basically, maybe I can sneak in a lab or pcp visit.

Then come 12/31/23, the state can drop plans in its Marketplace. So I can can new insurance 5/1, the time I get enrolled and get the cards it will be 6/1, and I can make appointments for 2/2024 and my insurance might not even be the same and I'll have to start over again.

I have appointments coming in June, July, August and September but they are based on a plan that I don't have anymore. They don't take Medicaid, and I have no idea what I will next month.

I might have the beginning of MS so these are very important appointments. I'm just so frustrated.
