Teletherapeutics Health C Out of Network Therapist

Earlier this year I told my primary that i wanted to see a therapist. I told them I wanted someone in network. A month passes by and they pass me along to Quartet. Then a get a message from Teletherapeutics saying they can schedule me for an appointment and that my insurance covers the appointment. I set the appointment and I have a weekly discussion with my therapist. I never received a bill for months so I figured everything was being paid. Fast forward to this week, I get a call saying they are cancelling my appointment because my insurance no longer covers the appointment. Odd. I then decide to look at my claims through my providers website and see that it was out of network and my insurance was paying $132 out of $300 for each appointment. My insurance’s website is saying I need to pay close $1900. This caught me way off guard. I don’t have that kind of extra cash and I am even more upset that no one ever billed me or the Teletherapeutics told me it was covered. The one time I try to use my wife’s PPO insurance for mental health it ends up putting us in debt. Idk what else to do.
