Surgery center wrongfully billed procedure as cosmetic when it was functional only

Not sure if this is the right sub but I had a purely functional septoplasty performed in October by a local ENT surgeon at a surgery center. The surgeon billed my insurance and it went through just fine. The surgery center billed my insurance and it came back as denied.

I proactively called the surgery center before a bill came to get to the bottom of this. Turns out, as they admitted, that it was billed incorrectly. They used the wrong CPT code and billed it as a rhinoplasty CPT Code: 30420 which is why insurance was obviously rejecting it. If it was billed correctly as a 30520 and 30465, my OOP cost would be 0 dollars, which I why I paid nothing for the surgeon's correct claims. I clarified this multiple times prior to and then after the surgery.

The billing department at the surgery center said they would keep me informed but it's been months and I've heard nothing. I left a voicemail last week with no response. Meanwhile, I've started to receive bills from their 3rd party biller requesting multiple grand. I went ahead and requested records from the operating surgeon and am preparing to deal with this myself but am not sure what the next step is when the surgery center is essentially ghosting me after admitting fault
