Still waiting for reimbursement

Hey all I’m hoping someone can help me as a Canadian working in the US that has run out of options.

I worked for a company that used HNAS to pay our health insurance claims. I was seeing a therapist and she was out of network so I paid her myself and then submitted the bill this to HNAS. The first claim I submitted was paid back and then after that I got nothing. They even made a mistake on one and sent the therapist the reimbursement which I had to get cancelled. I kept following up with the HNAS ppl from Oct 23 to Feb 24 prob 10+ times and they would say they issued the check and I never got anything so they would cancel and reissue. Come February I was let go and before I was the HR person was following up for so I asked her to keep checking. Now we’re in June and the HR lady went on medical leave.

How do I get my money because they owe me about $1200. Can I file a complaint with the state of New York? I’m back in Canada and I don’t know what to do and really want my money back. Any advice would be appreciated.
