Special enrollment-adding family to plan

Hello,

I’m aging off my parents health insurance February 14 of next year. Since my job doesn’t offer health insurance. I’m looking into a marketplace plan for me.

My wife is planning on leaving her job in the spring where she has health insurance for herself and our newborn. Her health insurance will cover until the end of June.

Unfortunately there’s no overlap from the 60 days after my birthday and 60 days before my wife/baby looses coverage, from what I understand about the policy below:

“You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you or anyone in your household lost qualifying health coverage in the past 60 days OR expects to lose coverage in the next 60 days.”

What are my options here? Can I create a plan for myself, and then add them to mine later?

We are also moving, and our income is decreasing significantly less since my wife isn’t going to work anymore. Are there qualifying life events too? Could I run the risk of not having insurance for myself for a few months and use the moving/change in income as a qualifying life event so we can find a plan with all 3 of us?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
