Should I get on my wife’s insurance?

My wife and I work at the same company. Currently, we each have our own policy, because it’s cheaper that way with the employer contribution. We’re both planning to leave soon, with me going first, estimating around February (Based on needing a surgery and the time for recovery from it ). She’ll probably go in July.
Anyway, our plan runs July-June. I hit my deductible within a few weeks due to being on a biologic. I could obviously elect cobra when I leave, or I assume the life change event of me leaving the job would make me eligible to go on hers. Is that correct? The premium cost to be on hers is essentially the full cost of the premium. So do I just get cobra on my own? Go into her plan, and max the out of pocket for her within two months? We don’t currently have each other declared for insurance purposes. I initiated the life change event on my side and we never bothered because the insurance is garbage. Would she need to go do that now? Could she do it? We’ve been married slightly over a year.
The plan in the long run would be to put her onto my plan at my new job when I become eligible. Then see who has better coverage at their job once we’re both at new places.
