Follow-up to a provider incorrectly thinking I have another primary insurance carrier.

I’m trying to get medicaid to cover a blood test that they previously told me they would cover. Apparently the claim was denied due to another insurance being my primary carrier (according to the blood work lab).

I’ve been advised to contact the HCA to correct what seems to be an error. The problem is, every avenue to contact the HCA in WA requires a ProviderOne ID number or “Services Card Number”. I was supposed to receive this on a ProviderOne card in the mail upon enrollment. I never received this card. So now I don’t have any way to contact the HCA. I can’t get through their phone system without these numbers either.

Despite this, I’ve been covered for medication since enrolling in January, without issue. I have a card from the insurance carrier (Coordinated Care) with a “Medicaid ID#” and “Member ID#”.

I sent a message to CC asking to confirm my enrollment status, and why I didn’t receive a ProviderOne card. But it’ll be weeks before they respond. I’ve tried sending a message to HCA with my “Medicaid ID#” from my CC insurance card for the “Services Card Number” field, but since I doubt those are the same field I think they’ll just ignore it as invalid.

I’m stuck, seemingly both enrolled in and not enrolled in medicaid at the same time. What can I do?
