Scammers / healthcare.gov / Absolutely avoid this site!!!
I went online and filled out a form for information at healthcare.gov
WHAT A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!
After 6 months I'm still getting about 8 calls and over a dozen text messages PER DAY promoting crazy health plans, spoken in broken English.
Obviously scammers.
I block the numbers for voice and text, only to have the same blowhards call/text from different numbers the next day.
When I call them back to, politely, ask to be removed from their call list – it sounds like they are in a very busy call pit, and I hear kids screaming and livestock crowing.
Then they simply hang up on me. When I call back the next few times I get a busy signal. They obviously blocked my number.
Healthcare.gov website said to call them to be placed on a do not call list. I just did that and the agent said I'm out of luck, as the publish peoples information to a mailing list that thousands of independent "insurance" agents have access to.
Do yourself a favor, find a local agent you can see eye to eye.
This is utterly fraud in the first degree!!!
