[Sanity Check]Newborn and change of plan

I am quite sure that this is probably not gonna work (because if I can think of it as a loophole, insurance company will be more than savvy to block it in lawyer's language), but please correct me if I am wrong or right/or maybe

A) I currently use employer plan. For simplicity, let's say that there are Plan A (High Deductible/Out of pocket max: i.e: 3000/8000)/B/C (lowest deductible/OOPM: i.e: 500/1000)

B) I currently am enrolled in Plan A to pay as little as possible in terms of healthcare premium.

C) if I have newborn delivered on 08/01/2024 and it will give qualifying event since there is a newborn.

D) Since most newborn medical bills will be greater than 3K, if I choose to do plan C, which has out of pocket max as 1000$, by which my most outgoing medical bill will be limited to 1K, not 8K.

E) Because newborn delivery date and procedure to perform C section will be the same date, will it be processed as A-D steps?

Thank you
