Recruiter – Health Insurance

I began a new position back in may.
The agency had a health insurance set up and already in place.
Now come July 1 they will have a new insurance company. Ok. We sign up for this new company.

So far as of yet we do not have any health insurance cards or anything. I tried to call the insurance company, they have nothing by any birthday or ss number.

we were told by the recruiter several things

"Try using your old insurance"
"See if the doctor will let youcome in"
"Pay out of pocket for your visits"
"Pay out of pocket and then submit the paperwork to insurance company for reimbursement"

And this one from the HR person
"So far we have submitted everything to the carrier, as of now there is nothing else we can do but just wait for them to finishing reviewing everything."

So it could be august? Maybe september when this rolls around and be retroactive to July 1?

"We have doctor visits that need to be completed!"
Have already rescheduled two of them for end of month Butwho knows

Plus some of the medications can take a LONG TIME to get.
Back and forths between the doctor and provider of name brand medications. Prior authorizations and pre approvals take time!
Advice and any recourse on what I can start today. I am tried of being pushed out the door because some dumbs cant get their head on straight.

Thank you
