Questions regarding employer health insurance

Hey everyone, thanks for reading. I'll try to explain my situation and concerns as best as I can, while keeping it as short as possible.

I'm in Kentucky. Also a veteran with a service-connected disability below the threshold at which I can add dependents to my VA coverage. I also have Wellcare, as do my wife and kids. My wife is disabled and draws social security disability, and also has Medicare D as a secondary insurance for herself only.

I am currently anticipating starting a new job which offers a full medical/dental/vision insurance plan for myself and my family. I'm not exactly sure of what the starting pay will be for the position, so I don't know how/if it will affect our Wellcare and Medicare insurance.

I draw $327.99/month from the VA for my service-connected disability. My wife draws $933.00/month from social security (not SSI).

Here are a few questions I have:

Assuming I enroll in my potential employer's health insurance plan, will I be forced to cover my wife and kids on that plan as well, or can they stay on Wellcare/Medicaid/Medicare?

Does our disability pay count as "income" in the eyes of the aforementioned health insurance plans?

If I choose to decline this insurance plan, but am disqualified from Wellcare coverage due to the income limit, will my wife and kids also be disqualified? Again, I have VA healthcare for myself only.

Hopefully I'm asking coherent questions here. I apologize if some of this is supposed to be common sense stuff, but it's been years since I had a job that even actually offered health benefits. The only reason I would decline this upcoming (new) insurance would be to have more money on my paycheck. Obviously, my family having health insurance is my top priority. I'm just trying to figure out the best course of action for all of us collectively.

If you made it to the end, thanks for reading.
