Question about soon to be born child’s eligibility for marketplace coverage

I am due to give birth to my first child mid-November. I live with, but am not married to, my partner/the father. We would like to get, but have not gotten, married due to my need for health coverage and marketplace plan with the subsidy I receive towards it is of good quality and is affordable for me. We consider his employer-offered coverage unaffordable and the plans themselves of low quality. He actually completely forgoes coverage and has his entire adult life. I understand if we were to marry I would not qualify for the subsidy I receive because I would eligible for coverage through his employer. I currently work a small business and my employer doesn’t offer coverage. My W2 income has not been lower than $28k since I began there, and I understand that this amount is high enough for me to qualify for marketplace coverage vs Medicaid as a household of 1 and also as my impending status as a household of 2. I will be claiming our child on my taxes so I understand we will be a tax household of 2 and my husband is his own tax household of 1 and these are the household sizes the marketplace considers. My question is: just as I would be considered ‘offered coverage’ if married to my partner because he is offered coverage through his employer and would be disqualified for a subsidy, would my child also be disqualified because they will be a qualifying dependent as defined by insurance companies? Will I be able to carry my child on my plan and still get benefit from the subsidy?
