Question About Copay Maximizer (SaveOnSp). Any downsides?

Hi All,

I have a question about SaveOnSP and these companies in general

I have Unitedhealthcare and they use Express Scripts for my medication. Express Scripts uses Accredo (who they own) for a speciality medication that is made by Pfizer

SaveOnSp called me recently and said they are partnering with Accredo and my employer to help me get my copay ($400 every 3 months) down to 0

This sounds too good to be true, so I tried to do some research, but I am still confused

I have read the articles below and I understand a bit, it seems like they are trying to drain the whole 15k max benefit that Pfizer will give to people (which we cant access I believe, or can we?)

Apparently after my 15k is used up, they will still pay the rest. But how? Is it United picking up the bill? Or pfizer losing some money?

I jus want to make sure I don't have an issue obtaining the medication since technically the medication can become "non essential".

I can't believe this is even a thing and these companies partner with these copay maximizer companies, but I am trying to figure this out. Any help or stories would be appreciated
