Question!

I’ve recently been on a medical leave from work— my company goes through a third party insurance company for short-term & long term disability leaves (standard practice these days) My own personal doctor has given me time off for the betterment of 8-weeks— this third party insurance nurse whom I’ve been assigned has had me fill out a personal section and has had me drop off medical documents to be filled out by my physician— it’s been around/over 2-weeks and these forms by my physician have not been filled out—

furthermore, upon being in contact with the clinics forms department and physicians receptionist it can only be speculated that the forms have not been filled out yet, and that my clinic has a 5-30day waiting period…

Where do things go from here? I feel like my employer is attempting to be neurotic but fair in assuming that from my time off now (coming up to & past 2 weeks) is in question without the scene of a claim being now processed— my portion has been filled out and a care plan has been set in motion.

& I gather that my third-party Nurse whom was assigned to me can only check in and ask questions in the same regards… but I can’t do anything more than what I’ve done… I’m stuck waiting!
