Problems with Finding/Going to Urgent Care Centers that accept your insurance

Hey yall, I have worked in a private urgent care for around 1 year and found many patients experience issues with their insurances being accepted, and get turned away or have to pay out of pocket. Has anyone experienced this issue before, and how do you usually go about finding urgent cares/providers in your area that accept your insurance?

I am considering building a free app to make it easier for individuals to find providers that accept their insurances. If you were to use such an app, what kind of functionalities would you want it to have?

I know alternative apps already exist such as ZocDoc. If you have used them, what are some problems that you have experienced with them/changes you would like to see implemented?
