Primary/secondary question related to Ohio Medicaid

I was on Ohio Medicaid from 12/22 to 5/24. I recently found out that my ex wife had private insurance on my daughter. She and her new husband put her on "just because" because the family insurance plan wasn't more expensive to add her. I am the parent who has to provide insurance according to the parenting agreement. I knew they did briefly after I lost my job, but I wasn't aware they had her on indefinitely.

I know in Ohio you can have Medicaid as secondary insurance. The issue is that I haven't reported her being on this insurance to providers when she's used Medicaid. However one provider recently saw she had that private insurance and I contacted CareSource (my Ohio Medicaid provider). They said they would coordinate benefits. However this was for an April 2024 appointment. I'm more concerned that the coordination may show that she's been covered the entire time. I'm just asking for advice. Should I call CareSource and explain? Will they just coordinate back to 12/22 if so? I don't want to get in any trouble because I didn't know she was covered.

Thanks!
