Primary/secondary insurance problem

I made a stupid mistake that could leave me penniless. I am insured through my school (Aetna) and, more recently, as a dependent through my partner (BCBS). Since I got better coverage with BCBS, I've been using it for 2+ years as my primary insurance, because I stupidly thought I could decide which insurance was my primary and which was my secondary. BCBS paid all of my prenatal appointments and L&D. So far so good. That was, until they found out about Aetna, which, as it turns out, is my primary insurance whether I like it or not. Well, now I'm getting billed for services received over the last 2+ years as BCBS is retroactively denying the claims. After many phone calls, my plan is to have my providers submit the claims to Aetna, explaining the mistake, and hoping they'll pay. However, as the Aetna representative told me, there's no guarantee they will. Is there anything else I could do? I'm scared that some provider will not submit the claim until too much time has passed for Aetna to pay it. I also don't know how far back the retraction is going to go. It's been 2 years but I have a whole third year worth of claims they could deny. I feel so stupid for getting myself into this when a simple Google search would have potentially saved me 50k+.
