Previous insurance

Title typo- Previous job's insurance *

Hi. How long does it take for a job's terminated insurance to update? My husband's previous job, which he wasn't with for too long- he told them it's showing active, this was Tuesday. They said they yes, they canceled the health insurance, and it takes a while for the insurance to update it- Yes, it is for sure canceled. It's invalid.

This was supposedly done last week. But when I call the number on the card, it still says active?

It was actually a mistake. He was enrolled in it too early. He brought it to their attention when he quit, premium was taken from the check. That's when told him he wasn't supposed to be enrolled yet. They'll fix it. So it doesn't make sense to me. And I guess it should be backdated. Maybe that also takes time?

He has to call them again for a question. I told him, mention again it does say active on the profile. We just want to be sure on what's going on and don't want it to interfere with our insurance-They might want to check that again.
