Prescription filed to old insurance

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I recently moved to a new apartment and transferred my prescription from a CVS to a Walgreens that is close to my new apartment. The new Walgreens had my current insurance on file but also somehow had my very old insurance on file (from 2+ years ago). The old insurance on file was my parents’ insurance that I was listed under as a child. I now have my own insurance plan (completely different provider from my parents), which they also had on file but did not process my prescription through.

When I went to pick up my prescription, I noticed the price was quite a bit higher than what I had paid in the past but didn’t think much of it. Only after I paid, I realized that it hadn’t been processed through my current insurance and was instead on my parent’s old insurance. I called the Walgreens pharmacy and they confirmed that it did submit it to my parents’ insurance.

Since I’m no longer listed as a child on my parents’ insurance, I’m assuming that it’ll reject the claim. How do I get it to be reprocessed through my correct, current insurance? Walgreens said there was nothing they could do for me, so I’m a little lost.
