Please help me choose the best plan for maternity services

Hello! My plan is to hopefully get pregnant early next year so I want to make sure I select the best healthcare plan for my potential need of maternity services next year. Looking through the benefits breakdown, I do see a section for maternity service office visit coverage but I am unsure of what else I should be looking for/considering (i.e. maximum out of pocket costs, outpatient coverage, emergency room coverage?)

I have two options from my employer:

Plan #1 (PPO)

-Deductible: $700 individual, $1,750 family

-Coinsurance: 85% plan/ 15% member

-In network out of pocket maximum: $4,500 individual/ $5,000 family

-Maternity services: Deductible & Coinsurance, copay does not apply to physician visits for prenatal care after the first visit

Plan #2

-Deductible: $500 individual, $1,250 family

-Coinsurance: 80% plan/ 20% member

-In network out of pocket maximum: $3,500 individual/ $3,750 family

-Maternity services: Deductible & Coinsurance, copy does not apply to physician visits for prenatal care after the first visit

Questions:

Medical providers are plentiful in the area I am in so I don’t think I will have an issue finding an in network provider. Considering the plan terms listed, which plan would be the least costly for a normal pregnancy? And also for a pregnancy with complications?

I currently have a dependent on my insurance plan (so I technically have a family plan, I think?). Does that mean my deductible and out of pocket max will always fall under the family amount instead of the individual amount, even if the medical procedures would only be for me?

When a new child is born, are they automatically put under the parents’ insurance plan? And if they are, is everything still going to be billed to the mother or will there be separate bills for the newborn? And in this situation, will the deductible and out of pocket max be individual or the family amount?

Is the labor & delivery costs covered under the Maternity Service’s benefit or should I be looking at the deductible & coinsurance for that? Or emergency services?

Thank you so much!
