Please help! Having a hard time getting last name changed. Does it even matter?

Context: Applied for Medi-Cal back in June/July ish and have been approved. My plan is for Kaiser fyi.

Problem:They are using my old last name. I was told to upload driver’s license, ssn, and court order from childhood showing the name change. For the past month or so they have had trouble getting the “state” to correct my last name on the state system. On the county system (Los Angeles) they were able to change it, but every time they send a benefits identification card to me it still uses my old last name. I then had to go to a local Social security office to get a referral notice stamped by them approving that my name change is recognized by the feds. Which it is!! This has been ongoing for more than a month now, and I am still waiting for the “state” which leads me to ask:

Will I encounter a hiccup or issue in coverage, if I decide to use my benefits with my old last name? I was told that I would, but also told that I wouldn’t since I’m approved and also if I tell them they are working on it. Could I potentially be denied coverage, or have to pay out of pocket because of the last name discrepancy? Or can I use my health benefits without a problem?
