Planning for baby next year, which health plan should we choose?

Just looking for some other opinions, as my wife and I are family planning and her open enrollment ends soon.

We are probably going to have her go on her individual Premium EPO Plan (highest tier) through her employer, which offers:

An in-hospital delivery cost of $250

100% coverage of prenatal visits

Out-of-pocket max for in-network of $2,000

Premiums totaling $2,407.6 for 2025.

I would go back on my employer’s cheap HDHP with HSA as I don’t anticipate needing much health care next year.

Below is a link to a breakdown of the 3 health plans she is able to select (these plans are better than my employer’s plans, so it’s down to her 3 for family planning):

The grand total for her indvidivual Premium EPO out-of-pocket max + my HSA premiums (minus the $375 my employer contributes) is $4,948.36 for the year. If we were to put her on the Core PPO plan, those totals would be $5,330.08. (And if we were to select her HSA+1 plan again next year, totals would be $10,064.36)

Are we doing the math the right way and selecting the right plan for a probable baby next year? Anything we’re missing?
