Payment snafu
Hello all, ran into an unfortunate situation.
so marketplace coverage began 2/1, first payment made 1/31.
Second payment made 3/06
Email received on 3/07 about expecting a payment, since I made a payment the day before I believed it to just still be processing.
I attempted to sign on to portal to make payment 4/09 and could not access the payment section. Keep in mind there is not a single notification in my dashboard, email, phone voicemail or anywhere beyond that email on 3/7. I called and was told they tried to make the payment using my card on file but it didn't go through and I should call first thing in the morning and they should be able to take my payment.
I call @ 8am and agent tells me all they can do is file an appeal, I agree and wait the 3 biz day timeline they give which I'm currently in.
Term for non payment email sent this morning as well. (4/10)
I understand I made the payments a bit late. into the month, but what happened here??? I really didn't make anything past 30 days in this case and I made it clear to the agent we can make whatever payment needed to be up to date.
I definitely fall within a grace period in this case, right? Curious to know everyone’s thoughts….
