Hi, i have an ongoing health insurance from manipalcigna for my parents which I took two years back covering 20L+20L (my parents are now 60&54). Two years back i purchased health insurance for 42k but with discount i had to pay somewhere around 38k. Last year when I renewed it was increased to 44k but with health points it got reduced to 40k. Both years i had no claim. This year I got a mail for renewal which said premium is 55k with health points i need to pay 50-51k. I mailed manipalcigna customer care about the huge increase in premium, but all they say is it's due to the age group change and health inflation and they won't be revising the premium.

Should I stay with the same insurer? Or should I switch to different insurer? (If i switch I'm afraid that i need to wait again for 3-4 years for the pre-existing disease cover).

Also, is it fair from insurer side to increase the premium this much as I'm closing to the four year pre-existing decease coverage?.
