Paid urgent care claims to UHC through their app, was this a mistake?

hi, I aged out of my parents’ insurance last year but recently used my insurance on a medical visit for the first time at urgent care. when I left the urgent care facility, they didn’t bill me (presumably because they had my insurance info).

a couple weeks later in my United Healthcare app, I saw that some claims were submitted so I paid two of them with my HSA card (it was about $40). now today I saw yet another claim processed that’s about $140, but I only have $120 left on my HSA card so I can’t pay it all at once. I assume all the claims didn’t go through at once since I had a few tests done at urgent care.

I was planning to call UHC on Monday morning to see about payment plans, but is it normal to pay for urgent care visits through your insurance app?? I thought the facility or office was supposed to bill you but I’ve received nothing from them. I went to the urgent care website and made an account with InstaMed to see if there were any bills there but there weren’t any.

I’d really like to get on a payment plan to pay off everything from this urgent care visit and put it behind me. my biggest concern is my bills getting sent to collections and messing up my credit. I’m also not trying to deal with surprise expenses since I’m already tight on cash.

I appreciate any advice on what to do or expect next. thank you!!

ETA I’m 26 and living in South Carolina. I make $67,700 per year pre-tax and haven’t received an EOB yet in my UHC app.
