Out of Pocket Max + Emergency Room Out of Network (No surprises act?)

I live in a rural area and have what looks to be roughly 3-4 options for health insurance that covers some things in the area.

Plan A: Covers emergency room 45 minutes away, but not the closest ones that are 23 & 29 minutes away. Has a $6,000 out of pocket max, and 30% coinsurance for emergency rooms out of or in network.

Question: If something were to happen and I go to the nearest emergency room (instead of the in-network one) does the out of pocket max apply? Let's say perhaps I got bit by a copperhead and needed like expensive antivenom, if I go to the hospital 23 or 29 minutes away and the antivenom is like 100k or something stupid, does the out of pocket max no longer apply? (just coinsurance) so I'm signed up for a 30k payment as opposed to my out of pocket max (6k) if I went to the emergency room 45 minutes away

Plan B, C, D: Covers emergency rooms closer to me, but 18k out of pocket max

Which one is better for me in this situation. Note: We do not really go to the doctor, are in good health, getting marketplace insurance to insure for extreme situations like this.
