EDIT: 29F, Oregon, income is $28,000

Context: Oregon just changed income eligibility for Medicaid. I am on Marketplace insurance; however, I am now eligible for Medicaid due to this change. The rules state that you can keep Marketplace insurance in 2025 in 2026 with the new Medicaid eligibility if you make no income changes in that time, but I plan on going full time at work in the next year so I will likely have a change.

I fall into the group of people who will be moved from a Marketplace health insurance plan to OHP Bridge if I make any changes to my health insurance in 2025 or 2026 (which I anticipate). This would mean losing coverage for my mental health providers when I have severe mental illnesses and my endocrinologist when I have a genetic medical condition.

I’m trying to brainstorm ways to make my healthcare work when these changes take effect, as I’m not willing to switch mental health or endocrinology providers due to how complicated my conditions are. My mental health providers in particular do not accept or work with any form of Medicaid.

I imagine it would be impossible to receive a Marketplace ACA subsidy for my Regence insurance while being on OHP Bridge? Anyone have insight into how people like me can make this work?
