Options when I turn 19 in a few months

I am a college student who lives on campus in NYS. I have had state child health plus insurance for the last few years, but I am told by my parents that ends when I hit 19 (in a few months).

I am wondering what my insurance options are when that happens. I work a part time job while at school and will work full time during the summer. Unknown if I will live at home or not during the summer (if that matters). I pay for my own college. My parents have a couples plan on the NY marketplace where about 50% gets subsidized, no options through jobs.

I do not understand how all this works, but if my parents no longer claim me as a dependent can I just buy my own individual plan on the marketplace? I suspect I would qualify for Medicaid or the Essential plan with my small summer income. Is it as simple as me applying on my own? Is there something I am missing like my drivers license address is still my parents house, are they going to be like you are still a dependent and your parents need to buy the family plan? The tax deduction they would get from claiming me as a dependent seems to be far less than the expense of a decent individual health insurance plan from the marketplace.

Any advice is apricated.

Oh my parents also live in NYS

Edit: I will make about $7,000 this year and hope to make $10-$12,000 next year with summer and break work.
