Options for getting health insurance?

Hello, I am in a bit of a situation and I could use some help.

I lost my insurance about 6 months ago. I was on an income-based plan through my county and got a new job that was over the income limits for the plan so I got dropped. The job I started was part-time to start but was supposed to become full-time with benefits after a couple months. I wasn’t expecting to lose my coverage in the mean time but after it happened I figured it wouldn’t be the end of the world to not have my medications for a little while. Well, my employer has just now confirmed that they have no plans to allow me to become full-time.

I looked into just getting my own insurance, but I don’t have any qualifying life events for special enrollment. Do I have any options for getting health insurance any other way? I have some serious health issues and while I’m not currently experiencing the worst of my symptoms, it’s only a matter of time before it starts to happen.

I would get a different job, but this job pays extremely well in my area for the field I have experience in. There aren't any jobs in my area that I would be qualified for that pay as well, even if I am only working part-time at this job.
