Open Enrollment two health plans possible for me

I retired from a CalPERS employer two years ago and I have Anthem Blue Cross insurance with my spouse as a retiree. It’s an 80/20 plan with $500 deductible and maximum $3000 each out of pocket maximum. My monthly premium for my Pers Gold plan is fairly low. Unfortunately my Primary Care Provider is no longer available in this plan.

I now have a part time job and it’s open enrollment time now. I am considering enrolling in a work sponsored health plan. There’s a high deductible Anthem plan for zero premium which includes my former PCP who I really like. The deductible is $3000, 20% coinsurance, maximum out of pocket $6,350 individual $12,700 family.

There’s also a Kaiser HMO available for me at $36.49/month or for me plus my spouse at $110.33/month.

With Coordination of Benefits (COB,) are there any pitfalls of selecting the no premium high deductible option to get my PCP back?

Also, if I went with Kaiser just for me would there be any negatives besides the monthly premiums?

Thank you in advance.
