My Girlfriend is needing insurance for a good amount of health issues, the biggest one is mental healthcare.

She currently is employed full time with benefits, but she is struggling to maintain this job. Her undiagnosed mental health issue is preventing her from working fulltime without being on the verge of a mental breakdown, crying, suicidal thoughts & more. We’re trying to get her mental health work but realistically she has no time or energy to seek treatment. For her own sake, and in reality she’s pretty limited on the hours she can work due to her underlying mental illness, and fulltime work just doesn’t seem possible. She’s had panic attacks & meltdowns near daily for months at her current job. Every job she’s had shes left on not the greatest terms due to essentially breaking down, and is close to doing that her current job. She has a primary care appointment in a couple weeks, but realistically by the time she can get in, get a referral to a psych, and start counseling/mental health treatment she’ll probably breakdown and leave.

What are our options? She needs help and cant afford it without insurance. The healthcare.gov marketplace options all were to expensive last week looked, she makes too much money for medicaid if she gets a part time job, to my knowledge we cant apply for disability or anything without formal diagnosises and medical records of her illness.

If she leaves her job would she qualify for NH medicaid? I dont know where to begin on this & we’re desperate to get her help.
