Newborn primary vs secondary insurance

Hello!

My husband and I have our own insurance plans through our companies. We had a baby late august. I have been under the impression that for the first 30 days of baby's life, he is covered under my insurance. The hospital we delivered at was in network for my insurance. We were in the hospital for delivery under myself, got discharged for 1 night, and then had to be readmitted for jaundice for baby and the readmission was under baby's name not my own. My deductible under my insurance is 3k and my OOP is 7k.

We have decided to move myself and baby over to my husbands insurance plan and are doing it as a life event change. However, his policy is going to have our baby back logged and covered since his date of birth.

My delivery admission, baby's jaundice admission, all his pediatrician appointments and labs have been under my insurance card. Now that we are moving myself and baby to husbands plan and it will be back logged, does this mean that myself and baby are covered twice creating primary and secondary insurance? My husbands birthday comes before mine in the calendar year.

Im worried that my delivery will be billed under my insurance because its under my name but his jaundice admission will be billed under my husbands insurance, therefore making it that we will have to pay two deductibles/oop?? Since those visits already happened under my insurance (have not gotten any bills yet though), are they good to go or would we have to re file our claim now that we know our baby will be back logged? What happens if our hospital is out of network for my husbands insurance, even though we went there because it was the only hospital in network for mine? I am very stressed, any insight would be so appreciated.
