Newborn claims processed then later denied, now in collections

Hi, I've searched the archive and although there are a few similar situations I'm still needing some help.

My daughter was born in 2021, under my insurance she should have been covered for the first 30 days, then my husband's insurance was picking her up.

The claimd were processed, I paid the remainder. Later, I got a bill for the services and called the company ( anthem BCBS) and they said they would reprocess since she should in fact have been covered for those visits. Problem solved, or so I thought. They even called me back and confirmed they were processed.

Now she's almost two, and I have a collections company sending me letters for about 5 visits that are suddenly not paid from her first 30 days of life. The paperwork they sent me back shows where the insurance paid, then took the money back.

What do I do here? I no longer work for that company, do I call in to the insurance company and fight it some more? Should I call my husband's insurance and see if they are willing to pick up those 30 days since they have covered her ever since? What information do I need to get this paid by the correct insurance company and out of collections?
