New health insurance. What do I need to do to keep my old appointment?

So, I had medi-cal (California) and it hasn’t formally been discontinued but my university offered to fully pay my premiums for student health insurance so I have Aetna now. I think my medi-cal would be secondary insurance now and Aetna my primary. My enrollment in Aetna just became active today. However, I have an important follow up appointment to monitor an abnormal ultrasound result in a few weeks. Who should I contact to make sure my appointment is still covered or to get it covered? I know the imaging center accepts Aetna.

Extra information: The imaging center originally just needed a doctors order to submit to insurance. Should I call them and give them my new insurance info? Do I need to see a new doctor through Aetna to get a new order? Will medi-cal still cover it? I get a lot of phone anxiety so if I can call the right people first and ask the right questions, navigating this process will be so much easier. Thank you!
