New bosses do not offer health insurance.

Not sure if I added the right flair, so please correct me if I’m wrong.

So, when I was 26 years old I was no longer covered by the Affordable Care Act. Eventually, I obtained health insurance through employer through UPMC which was available in Pennsylvania and a few other states where I live which covered dental and vision as well. This was something I was not familiar because you know, you learn more shit about adulting everyday. In this case, it was that getting sick costs money to get fixed now which I’ve accepted in today’s society.

Monthly, I was paying $76/mo which would consist of $38 being garnished out of each check. (The owner jokingly said when I’m an old man like my thirty-one year old district manager that it will go up which makes sense.) I used it a lot for therapy sessions and once at to get some antibiotics at urgent care for a Covid test which ended up being some sort of upper respiratory infection. Eventually, a new franchise picked up the business where I work at (wireless retail) but they do not provide any PTO or insurance. Due to this, they gave me a raise and I make A LOT more money than usually.

The only thing was, the insurance I had was not accepted at a lot of places and finding appointments was always hard. Everywhere that . I’m not really sure what I’m looking for but I would like to find a provider I can rely on if need a check up or to continue my therapy which did indeed help me a lot. I’d even be willing to spend a little more than necessary due to my pay raise. Please shoot me some insight! Thank ya, thank ya!
