Never had insurance. Finally having extra income but not these rates.

Hello I'm 33 and recently got a promotion at work making about 70% more than I was before. I missed the chance to apply for health insurance in their limited window every year to apply. I was wondering what were some of the better options and if knowing what I'm looking for helps.

I'm single and will make about $31,000 this year. I need dental as I have never been to a dentist since I was a kid and have a cavity that is nearly to the jawline but other teeth are fine just need a clean. I have a pilonidal cyst that acts up a few times a year but mostly it's just an embarrassment or someone seeing it flare up. I don't have a lot of savings as I'm needing to move in the next 6 months and my car has a crack in the engine block and I am riding on the slow leak while I save for a better car instead of one that will have problems too.

I hope next year to be a big year I just need help starting strong before certain windows like applying for health insurance close.
