Need travel insurance for visiting USA

Hi, I’m a U.S. citizen, but I live abroad and participate in the public health system of my country of residence.

I am visiting family in the US this fall but my son has severe food allergies and unfortunately has been hospitalized several times this year. I can’t find any travel insurance policy that will insure him in case he’s gotta go to the ER while we’re in the USA. We didn’t realize we needed to buy travel insurance within 14 days of paying for flights to get a pre existing condition waiver.

Are there any other options? Someone mentioned I might be able to get a plan for him on the marketplace but I’m skeptical because we’re no longer US residents and we’d need it for only two weeks.

I’m 26, son is 2. We live in Czechia but last lived in Pennsylvania when we lived in the USA(I still have a valid driver’s license there, voter registration, etc).

Pretax income is about $70k a year.
