Need help picking health insurance plan with baby on the way

Hello,

My (29M) wife (29F) and I are expecting our first child in the spring of 2025. We live in Illinois. Currently, we are in the employee + spouse PPO 2000 plan but will need the family plan once the baby is born. I am overall healthy with little medical expenses. My wife has weekly therapy sessions along with taking a couple of prescriptions. We know the childbirth will be expensive but are unsure which plan would be better. The options below are both from the in-network family plans.

PPO 2000

Premium: $1,212/month Deductible: $2,000 individual/$4,000 family Max OOP: $4,000 individual/$8,000 family Coinsurance: 0% Drug Coverage: $10/$50/$125/$300 co-pay

HDHP HSA 5000

Premium: $829/month Deductible: $5,000 individual/$10,000 family Max OOP: $7,500 individual/$15,000 family Coinsurance: 20% Drug Coverage: Medical deductible applies then $10/$50/$125/$300 No employer HSA contribution

Thanks in advance for the advice!
