My insurance wants me to use independent facilities for labs, radiology, pathology, surgical centers etc. But their only in-network doctors refuse to work with these independent facilities. What do I do?

Whenever I go to an in-network doctor, every doctor always works with specific facilities. They almost never mention this voluntarily. If I ask before making an apppointment, they refuse to tell me. I only ever get an answer (if I do get an answer) after I've already waited weeks for an appointment and incurred the cost for an appointment. At which point, they usually tell me I have no choice. Meanwhile, their partnering facilities are either out-of-network or are extremely expensive compared to what my insurance wants me to use (such as hospital affiliated facilities vs independent facilities).

In other situations where I already had the tests done ordered by another doctor, they refuse to accept them and tell me I have to repeat all of it using their partner facilities. Sometimes they just blatantly refuse to accept them while other times they make up bs excuses like "we don't trust it unless it was done here" or "our facilities are more accurate."
